1. Service Description

Eternity ("we", "our", "the Service") provides a Privacy-Focused AI platform that enables organizations to create, manage, and query knowledge bases using artificial intelligence while maintaining strict data isolation and a no-training guarantee.

1.1 What "Privacy-Focused" Means

When we say "Privacy-Focused AI", we mean:

1. No Training on Your Data: Your uploaded documents and queries are NEVER used to train AI models - this is contractually guaranteed by our AI provider (Anthropic)
2. Organization Isolation: Your data is logically isolated from other customers in our multi-tenant infrastructure
3. Role-Based Access Control: Only authorized users in your organization can access your knowledge spaces
4. Transparent Data Processing: We clearly disclose what data is sent where and for how long

2. Data Privacy and Security

2.1 What We Store

• Your documents: Encrypted and stored in our vector database (Qdrant Cloud) with organization-level isolation
• Chat history: Message content only (no query results or confidential analytics data stored for privacy)
• User account information: Email, name, organization membership
• Document metadata: Filenames, upload timestamps, processing status

2.2 What We DO NOT Store

• Query results: Structured analytics and data tables are computed on-demand and never persisted
• AI responses: Not retained in our database beyond the user session
• Sensitive fields: Query results containing PII are not logged

2.3 Third-Party Data Processors

3. Data Deletion Rights

You can delete:

• Individual documents: Immediate removal from our vector database
• Entire knowledge spaces: Permanent deletion within 24 hours
• Your account: All data deleted within 30 days

4. Security Guarantees and Limitations

4.1 What We Guarantee ✅

• Organization-level data isolation
• No training on your data (contractual guarantee)
• Role-based access control
• Encrypted data in transit and at rest

4.2 MVP Security Limitations ⚠️

We believe in transparency. As an MVP product:

• Shared infrastructure: All organizations use a shared Qdrant collection with app-level filtering
• 30-day retention: Standard Anthropic API retains data for 30 days for safety monitoring
• Basic rate limiting: Production-grade DDoS protection coming Q2 2026

Suitable for: Business documents, internal knowledge bases. Not recommended for: HIPAA data without enterprise BAA, sovereign data requirements.

5. Acceptable Use

You may NOT:

• Upload malicious content
• Attempt to access other organizations' data
• Use for illegal purposes
• Abuse or scrape the service

6. Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS". We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy of AI responses
• Uninterrupted availability
• Complete data loss prevention

7. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid in the last 12 months (minimum $100).

8. GDPR & CCPA Compliance

GDPR (EU): You have rights to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. Contact privacy@eternity.help

CCPA (California): We do NOT sell your data.
