1. What We Use and Why
Eternity uses a small number of cookies and similar browser-storage technologies (localStorage). We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Consent needed? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Auth token | Essential (localStorage) | Keeps you signed in to your account | No — required for the service to work |
| eternity_cookie_consent | Essential (localStorage) | Remembers your cookie choice | No — stores the consent itself |
| Microsoft Clarity | Analytics (cookies) | Anonymous usage analytics (which pages are used, where people get stuck) to improve the product | Yes — loaded only after you click "Accept" on the consent banner |
2. Your Choices
- Decline analytics: choose "Decline" on the consent banner — Clarity is never loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
- Change your mind later: reset your preference below and the banner will ask again on your next visit.
- Browser controls: you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential storage is required for login to work.
3. More Information
How we handle your data more broadly is covered in our Privacy Policy. Questions: hello@eternity.help.
